Billionaire Bachelor List Shrink as Sean Parker Gets Engaged

The list of what is considered to be ‘eligible bachelors,’ which some could say already took a blow this year when Prince William officially came off of the market, has gotten even shorter this week when billionaire Sean Parker became engaged.

The founder of Napster, as well as an original advisor to the creators of Facebook, was already well-known in certain circles for his hard-partying, rock star tendencies, culminating in the 2005 arrest for cocaine possession, which subsequently forced him to resign from his work with Facebook.  However he became a household name this year thanks to Justin Timberlake’s portrayal of Parker in the movie “The Social Network.”

And amidst the height of his Pop-Culture fame, Parker has removed himself from the dating market by proposing to his girlfriend, New York City based singer, Alexandra Lenas.

Parker and Lenas were first linked together about a year ago by the New York Post, who claimed Parker brought the singer to an event in New York City as his date, although according to Gawker.com, the two had only been dating for sixth months before the Tech entrepreneur popped the question.

Parker had previously been in a relationship with ex-girlfriend, Kate Jurkiewicz for three and a half years but the couple reportedly split just before the release of “The Social Network” this October.  It was around the same time that Parker was spotted with Lenas, and the couple even attended Heidi Klum’s Halloween party together, dressed appropriately, as Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears.

There has been no mention of an engagement ring yet,  but Parker’s representatives have confirmed the engagement to People, despite the fact that neither Lenas nor Parker has updated their Facebook status from “In a Relationship,” to “Engaged.”
