Kim Kardashian Wants a 10-Carat Diamond

This isn’t the first time Kim Kardashian wedding rumors have arisen, not with her current boyfriend Kris Humphries, and not with her ex, Reggie Bush, with whom she was with on and off from 2007 to 2010.

However, this time around it may be Kardashian herself who set the gossip mill spinning, the reality star sat down with Life&Style to talk about wedding plans, albeit in very general terms.

“I’ve envisioned the whole thing,” Kim told Life & Style. “I can’t wait to get married. I’ve found my wedding dress — I mean, I already know what my gown is going to look like. I’ve thought about it all for so long.”

Kardashian has made no secret of the fact that she has wanted to get married, or that she never envisioned herself as the only single sister at 30, a milestone she hit last October.  However, it isn’t just the flower choice or wedding dress that Kardashian has picked out, she reportedly already has an engagement ring in mind.

A source revealed to Life&Style that Kardashian has been inspired by the late Hollywood legend Elizabeth Taylor, and is looking for a substantial diamond for her ring.  Kardashian interviewed Taylor for the March issue of Harper’s Bazaar, in which she also did a Cleopatra inspired photo shoot right before Taylor passed away on March 23rd

Now it seems that Kardashian is emulating the screen siren in more ways than one, after she has reportedly been heard saying she would like a 10 carat diamond ring when she gets engaged.

The dream may not be totally unreachable for Kim, who has been dating Power Forward for the NJ Nets, Humphries, for the past few months.  After all, when her sister Khloe got engaged to fellow basketball star Lamar Odom, she received a 12.5 carat Radiant cut diamond engagement ring.

And it isn’t just the wedding that Kardashian has planned for her and maybe Humphries, she told the magazine.

“I think I’ll name my kids with K’s to keep the tradition going,” she said. “I want a big family, three to five kids.”
