Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have never been very open about their relationship, in fact, the couple who has been together since 2006, has yet to confirm a wedding date, despite the fact that Richie has been wearing a 4 carat, Round cut diamond engagement ring for almost a year. However, even without their help, the media may have ferreted out the details with many people believing that the big day will happen this weekend.
Speculation began to build when Richie was spotted upping her workout schedule this past month, often considered typical bridal behavior, which then led paparazzi staking out her famous father’s house.
And as it turns out, the backyard of Lionel Richie’s Bel Air mansion is being transformed into a wedding wonderland.
The slightly creepy, aerial view photos show a large Marque, covered as to ensure privacy, complete with a covered walkway to allow guests to arrive without being seen. Celebrity guests like DJ Samantha Ronson, and singer Christina Aguilera, as well as 75 other expected friends and family, according to The Dailymail.
Other details of the day will likely emerge later, but Madden told E! News earlier this year that he would like to have the father of the Bride, Lionel Richie, perform on the big day. An idea that was jokingly shot down by the bride.
And while all signs point to a wedding, in the four years that Madden and Richie have been together they have created a family with their two children, daughter Harlow and son Sparrow. They have also, however, alluded to the fact that they may never get married, leaving us to maybe not hold our collective breath, but crossed our collective fingers.
