It is no secret that Vivica Fox likes younger men. There was first her husband of four years, Christopher Harvest who was only slightly younger, then her much hyped, short lived, and somewhat awkward to watch relationship with rapper 50 Cent. Now it seems that Fox is ready to settle down again with Omar White, who is, at 27, almost two decades younger.
The actress has been dating the Atlanta Club Promoter for a little over a year, and despite a small but public break up in August, the couple seems to be going strong. And on December 26, after enjoying the holidays at Miami’s South Beach Ritz Carlton, White popped the question with an elaborate diamond engagement ring.
Fox has since been spotted wearing the 8 total carats ring, which consists of a little over 2 carat brilliant cut center diamond set into a three band design. The center band seems to also have surrounding smaller emerald cut diamonds. According to gem experts, the ring is estimated to be worth $80,000 to $100,000.
Fox, who most recently stared on the show “Curb Your Enthusiasm” tweeted the news of her engagement shortly after receiving the ring on the 26th.
“Wow my Xmas just got better,” she wrote. “Diamonds are a gurls best friend!”
The couple is used to living in the public eye; back in August White ended their relationship by releasing a press release to Fox, which he later recanted then next day, claiming they had reconciled.
Despite the embarrassment, Fox laughed it off when later asked about it, telling reporters: ‘Love is crazy sometimes.’
